GBTI will be implementing several improvements to its in-bank and online banking platforms to modernize and improve our customer experience.

In order to have the upgrade in-place and accessible on 1^st November 2022, we announce the following adjustments to the hours during which the bank will be open to customers and the public.

On Tuesday October 25th and Wednesday October 26^th, 2022 our Corporate service and Branches will be open up to 14:30hours.

Note:

• GBTI Diamond which is usually closed on Wednesdays but open on Saturdays, will be open next Wednesday, October 26^th 2022; but closed on Saturday October 29th, 2022.
• GBTI Parika which is usually closed on Wednesdays but open on Sundays, will be open next Wednesday, October 26^th 2022; but closed on Sunday October 30th, 2022.
• On Thursday October 27^th, 2022, all Branches will be closed at 12:00hours(noon).
• On Friday October 28^th and Monday 31^st, 2022, all Branches will be closed.

GBTI resumes normal operations on November 1^st, 2022, from 08:00hours to 14:00hours.

Card Services:

• ATMs and Kaieteur Classic Card facilities will be unavailable after 14:00hours on October 27^th, 2022.
• ATMs and Kaieteur Classic Card usage will be restored and accessible from November 1^st, 2022.
• Customers will not be charged fees for use of the ATM for the period October 25th – November 4^th, 2022.

In light of this advisory please try to perform your ATM transactions before this period to avoid any inconvenience.

Online Banking Services:

• GBTI Online (GO) banking services will be accessible from Friday November 4^th, 2022.

GBTI acknowledges the inconvenience the System Upgrade would cause, but assures that it is unavoidable. The upgrade, which has involved many hours of training of staff and testing by a consortium of banking software specialists, readies the bank for service of international quality.
