A tourism and hospitality professional with nearly three decades of experience, Kathryn Eytle McLean has been a shareholder and member of the board of directors of the Georgetown, Guyana-based Frandec Travel Services, Inc. for the last 18 years. She is also the company’s CEO. To expand her expertise and better serve Frandec, Kathryn McLean obtained certification through the Human Resources Practitioners Association of Guyana and an Executive MBA from the University of the West Indies in Barbados. She also participated in the American Express Travel Services IDC Owners Meetings between 2003 and 2005 and the American Express Online Travel University.

Concurrently, Kathryn Eytle McLean is a franchise owner with Cruise Planners. From her office in Lawrenceville, Georgia, she assists clients looking to book cruises, hotel stays, guided tours, and other travel experiences. As a travel advisor, Ms. McLean is dedicated to excellent customer service and works closely with each client to design their perfect getaway.

Ms. McLean also sits on the boards of directors of Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry Ltd. (GBTI) and H&F Inc. Previously, she held a position on the board of the Guyana Tourism Authority.

Since 2009, Kathryn Eytle McLean has led the Santa Marietta Animal Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, as its director. She has also been active in the greater Atlanta community through her work with several local organizations. Currently, Ms. McLean serves as director of the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville, co-president of the Parent Teacher Student Association of Collins Hill High School, and as a committee member of a local Boy Scouts of America troop.

Before moving to Georgia, Ms. McLean was similarly active in several community organizations in Guyana. Between 2003 and 2011, she was the director of the Guyana Red Cross Society. She also directed the Rotary Club of Georgetown and served as president of the Inner Wheel Club of Georgetown.
